What's the difference between an Affiliate & a Moderator?

An Affiliate is someone who wants to share our programs and will earn the 10% commission. A Moderator volunteers to help others along their recovery journey by moderating in our social media groups, and in turn, will get their own affiliate link to also earn 10% on what they sign up for.

What are the benefits of being a moderator?

As soon as I started helping others with their recovery, I experienced a lot of great benefits myself. Just by guiding others, I noticed it solidified the skills in my mind. I was also more consistent with the work myself!

Secondly, I experienced a lot of joy & fulfillment when I help others. It brings me more happiness in my life!

Next, when there is an opportunity to work with My OCD Coach, I look at my moderators first.

And lastly, there is the 10% commission you'll earn when they sign up for a product or program.

What are the requirments to be a Moderator?

The 4 requirements are:

You've completed modules 1-8 of the OCD Recovery Fundamentals course or have a basic understanding of ERP.
You're consistently practicing ERP when OCD is active.
You've experienced symptom reduction due to your recovery skills.
You have at least 45 minutes (spread out throughout 1 day per week) available.

What Facebook groups need moderating?

Right now, we need moderators in our Relationship OCD Facebook group Monday thru Sunday. You can sign up for 1 day per week or multiple days. Just reply the email you'll get and let us know what day(s) you prefer.

What is the time commitment for a moderator?

It depends on how many posts there are on your particular day, but on average it takes 5-10 minutes each time you go in and check. You will need to check for posts 3-4 times per day to ensure wait times are low.

As you get comfortable with the format, it'll take you less time to respond!

What am I expected to do?

Our moderators are there to:

Check the group for new posts, approve & respond to them.
If someone is posting compulsively (ex: seeking reassurance), you'll approve the post & let them know it's a compulsive post, explain why, and turn off commenting.
You'll also respond to comments directed to you.
Additionally, you'll direct people to the My OCD Coach recovery options (approximately 20-50% of the time).

Do I get paid for the time?

This is a volunteer role, but there is a 10% commission for when someone uses your link to sign up for a program.

How much do most people make using their link?

This is dependent on the person - how many days they moderate, if they're sharing their link in other groups, how much they share their link, and how they advise and share.

We will help you navigate the moderator role and how to be successful in advising, etc. on our Zoom calls and via email.

It is possible to get great payout using your link. For example, one moderator's May payout was $447.50.

4 people signed up for The Path = $43.20/mo.
3 people signed up for The Path PLUS = $56.40/mo.
1 person signed up for The Path PREMIUM = $199.70
1 person signed up for a 10-session coaching package w/ Danielle = $150

Note - this person is very active in many OCD recovery groups on social media, but it is an example of what is possible with consistent sharing of our recovery programs.

If someone signs up for a subscription, do I get paid for every week they're a member?

Yes, you do. So, for example, for every person who signs up for The Path PLUS, you'll get $18 per month. If they're a member for 6 months, you'll earn $108. If you have 5 people you've referred to this program and they all stay for 6 months, you'll earn a total of $540.

How do I get paid?

You will be paid via PayPal, so you'll need a PayPal account to sign up.

What are the programs & payouts?

10% of each of these programs is:

The Path - $2.70/wk. or 10.80/mo.

The Path PLUS - $4.70/wk. or 18.80/mo.

The Path PREMIUM - $199.70 ea.

Initial Session w/ Danielle - $17.50 ea.

5-Session Coaching Package w/ Danielle - $77.50 ea.

10-Session Coaching Package w/ Danielle - $150 ea.

Initial Session w/ Jamara - $12.50 ea.

5-Session Coaching Package w/ Jamara - $52.50 ea.

10-Session Coaching Package w/ Jamara - $105 ea.

OCD Recovery Fundamentals Course - $29.70 ea.

Heal Your ROCD Coarse - $24.90 ea.

*Note - if they choose a payment plan, your payments will reflect as such.

Is there a timeframe for them to sign up?

Yes, you will receive your commission on anything they sign up for within 30 days of clicking on your link.

How will I know what to do?

You will have a welcome Zoom call with Danielle where she will explain everything to you. You will also receive follow-up emails with reminders and guides for common questions. Additionally, Danielle will have occasional Zoom calls for any important updates.

Is there anything not included in the commission?

You will get commission on any full-priced membership program, course, or coaching session or package purchased at www.MyOCDCoach.com. Typically, discounted coaching sessions or any discounted add on are not included in the commission structure.
